Title Research: Art of the Titles Website

 Hey Blog! 

    Today I will continue to research my short film introduction by looking at title sequences for films. Title sequences are super important in setting the tone for the upcoming story. These sequences allow for the audience to create a general idea on the mood of the film, which will let them know what to expect. Overall, the title sequence is very important to a short film introduction, so I need to guarantee I do it right. 

    The best way to research title sequences is simply to watch different ones! Rather than watching a bunch of different sequences across streaming services, I could use a website that contains different movie title sequences. The website, “Art of the Title” is what I will be using to gain insight on different sequences. Art of the title provides the user with tons of title sequences of many different genres. The website is free to use and very easy to navigate. For these reasons, I will be using this website to conduct my research!

Planning Blog: More information

 Hey Blog!     Today to finish off my planning, I will discuss the location, actors/actresses, health regulation, and my schedule!     The media will be filmed at my house, Lauderdale by the Sea, and Playa Bowls.     I convinced my friends to act in the film, so here are their names and their roles.  Lucy Brown will play EMMA. Emma is one of the leads who begins the drama and gets attacked. Sally Jean will play LILY. Emma's oldest friend who leaves her. Mya Smith will play SARA. One of the girls in the group. Olivia Yiznitsky will play OLIVIA. Lily's new friend in the group.     I plan to film at night, therefore I will have my parents there to watch over me and the actors to make sure we are safe.
