Getting My Permit

     My name is Mariana, and welcome to my second intro blog. We are nearing the end of quarter, and I'm going to create a new project. I'm very excited because today is a special day. I'm going to get my permit! I will tell you about my upcoming project on the way there.

    My next project is a music video! At first I did not know if I wanted to work alone yet. I then decided it would be better to work with a friend from another class. Our song is still undecided.

    It was a really long walk into the DMV, and it was very hot out. Once we got there, we had to wait in a very long line. After, we reached the front of the line they said we needed proof of residency. Me and my mother had to walk all the way back to the car to get her driver registration! Then we came back and had to wait in another long line!

     Finally we reached the booth. They then said my birth certificate was too folded, so I had to get my passport. Unfortunately my passport was at home, so we had to drive back. We retrieved the passport from my house and drove back to the DMV. Then I finally got my permit after another 45 minutes.

    Although a three hour long process, I am very excited to finally have my permit! I hope you guys enjoyed my intro blog, talk to you soon.
