Production Blog: The Flood

 Hey bloggers! 

Today is the day I am finishing up my commercial. I’m starting to think of different ideas. I tried using my planned photos and videos, but I wasn’t really feeling it. I decided to keep the same song but follow my heart! 

I was first introduced to the song, “Lovely Day” by my father. We were driving around during a flood. Last year, there was a really nasty flash flood. Me and my dad got stuck in traffic on the way home from dance. Our first stop was burger king to get some French fries! Usually, our drive home from that burger king is 10 minutes. It took us 45 minutes to get home. 

Once we got home, we were ready to watch football. Sadly, our internet was out. Someone had driven into a phone line! We had to come up with another plan. 

We decided we were going to drive around a see the damage, carefully of course. We were going to get Baskin Robbins. I got a cookie dough cone, and that’s when he started to play the song. Ironic in the moment but still a great memory. We turned a disastrous situation into a bonding experience!
