Comparing 9, the Short, and 9, the Full-Length Movie

 Hey Blog!      Today I will be taking a deep dive into 9, both the short and full length, to do research before my project. I hope you all enjoy!      Shane Acker’s 9 was originally a short film in 2005 that later became a full-length movie in 2009. Both versions take place in a post-apocalyptic world w here small ragdoll creatures, each named after numbers, try to survive. Although both films have the same plot, the differences between the short and full-length films are evident . Our Pitch

Hey Blog!             Today Karina and I will be coming up with an idea for our short film. I will now present to you our two pitches. 1.      A teenager is hired to babysit. The child tries to warn her about an evil within the house, however the evil is the parents who hired her 2.      A strange guest shows up to a private dinner. The guest is creepy and knows secrets on all the other guests. Both Karina and I are extremely interested in using the first pitch. The idea is not too complicated and could be done. Not only that, but it would be a horror short which could be super fun. We could experiment with different lighting, acting, and props. This idea is simple, yet surprising, which would make it perfect for our short! The second pitch is less exciting for us.
